"We were lucky enough to be able to visit the Savonnerie du Midi museum for a preview! We discovered, with great pleasure, the ancestral methods used to produce traditional Marseille Soap. The exhibition of the collection of objects related to Marseille Soap constituted and commented by Mr. Mario Quitard is particularly impressive and interesting because it allows us to understand how Marseille Soap has crossed the ages! A big thank you to the whole team who prepared and animated this visit with enthusiasm and professionalism!

At the bend in an alleyway that does not let you suspect what is coming, you discover a warm and intimate place that takes you on a journey through the history and production of soap. It is a pleasant moment to spend.

What I remember:

• Very interesting mix of tradition and modernity
• Industrial activity in the city, in a steep site: a surprising mix
• The Savon de Marseille label must be earned, like the Calissons d'Aix label!
