Clean your mask with Marseille soap in 3 steps
It is important to treat our cloth masks as we treat our hands: wash them every time we come home.
To clean your mask, nothing is better than the Marseille soap !
Washing-up liquids, shampoos and shower gels very often contain moisturising, antibacterial and perfumed products which should be avoided when cleaning the mask.
Step 1: Cleaning
Rub your mask with a La Corvette extra pure or olive cube and warm water for at least 2 minutes, making sure to get into all the crevices of the mask, as you would with your hands.
Step 2: Soaking
Leave to soak for at least 5 minutes and rinse your mask with clean water (not sudsy water)
Step 3: Drying
Let it air out for at least a day in a safe, disinfected space, to allow any potential virus particles to dissipate on their own. You can also steam your mask once it is completely dry.
Please note that this is not a scientific post. And we also recommend you to follow the advice of the @gouvernementfr for the disinfection of your masks.
